The ASD USBormiese and UCAB1925, in a design agreement and unity of purpose, on 20 June 2026, organized a 1300 km Les Randonneurs Mondiaux LRM Patent on an Alpine route.
The Patents are free-walking and cyclists must ride them without other assistance other than that authorized by the organizer.

The ALPI 4000 extreme is open exclusively to cyclists who:
• We have reached 18 (calendar year) regardless of gender,
• Each participant must be in possession of medical sports suitability for the practice of competitive cycling; participants with foreign residence must have a certificate of suitability drawn up according to the E - Health Certificate model. E-Health Certificate.
Athletes over 75 years of age (calendar year) must have a medical certificate of competitive fitness or high cardiovascular impact, for the practice of cycling, not older than six months.
Please note that the simple possession of a sports card is not enough.
• For each participant, both of Italian residence and foreign residence, the certificate of eligibility for participation must have an expiration date not earlier than the day of the race.
• The control of the possession of an adequate medical certificate will be carried out through the Data Health service; therefore, for both participants of Italian residence and foreign residence, it is necessary that the medical certificate provided for by these regulations has been ordered and validated, through the Data Health service (www.datahealth.it), by 01/06/2026.
All two or three-wheeled vehicles with a handlebar driven by muscle force through a chain transmission system with the use of pedals are allowed.

The vehicles must be equipped with a sufficiently powerful fixed lighting system, it must be visible 100 meters in front and 150 meters behind. The front light must be WHITE, the rear light must be RED. This lighting must be firmly fixed and permanently on the vehicle, even during the day. The lighting must be turned on from nightfall until dawn, or when visibility becomes insufficient, whether the participant is alone or in a group.

It is mandatory to wear a reflective vest or reflective bands during the night walk and in the tunnel. It is mandatory to wear the hard-shell protective helmet for the entire duration of the ALPI 4000.

Pre-departure accreditation will take place on Friday 18:30 19 June 2026 in Bormio (SO) at a place that will be announced.

It will be possible to transfer your registration to another cyclist up to 15 days before the start by communicating it to the Organization (20€ contribution will be requested for practical reworking).
The reimbursement of the fee to be returned will take place starting from 01 OCTOBER 2026 until 31 OCTOBER 2026.However, we will set up a waiting list of people who wish to sell their seat 60 days before departure. Once all the seats in the Alpi 4000 have been sold, we will organize a waiting list in May for those who still want to participate.

- 5.1 Every hiking participant during the ALPI 4000:
Under no circumstances can the organizing company be held responsible for incidents that may occur before, after, and during the development of the current patent.
The organization does not oversee any road traveled or crossed during the ALPI 4000.
- 5.2 The departure must take place in groups using the “French departure” method.
Since the ALPI 4000 involves night travel, all types of bicycles used must be equipped with a front and rear lighting system solidly attached to the vehicle and in a continuous and constant state of operation. Hiking participants with a lighting system that does not meet the required requirements are prohibited from leaving.
As night approaches or when visibility is not satisfactory, every hiking participant is obliged to activate the lighting system and verify its perfect efficiency.
Every hiking participant is required to be equipped with a double lighting system with front white light and red rear light.
Every hiking participant during the night or when visibility is not satisfactory is required to wear light-colored clothing, with bracelets, anklets, vests with reflective powers.
Any violation of art. 6 of the ALPI 4000 regulation detected during a check, which can be carried out both during the course and at the fixed control points, involves a penalty as reported in appendix 1.
Each hiking participant provides, without the help of anyone else, everything they need to complete the ALPI 4000.
No organized service is authorized along the route.
Assistance is allowed only and only at the checkpoints indicated and recognized by the organizing company.
No hiking participant along the route can take advantage of the wake of occasional cyclists on a free excursion, the wake of cars or motorcycles and the continuous and fixed lighting by vehicles.
Every hiking participant is advised to always travel in a single row, double rows are not recommended, and the formation of groups that may hinder traffic.
Any hiking participant who contravenes art. 8 of the ALPI 4000 regulation may be ousted from the event or suffer a time penalty. (appendix 1)
Every hiking participant during the ALPI 4000 must behave ethically correctly and must respect the staff in charge of the CHECKPOINTS.
In order to register for the ALPI 4000 cycling excursion patent, each hiking participant must fill out a registration form and pay the participation fee defined by the organizer on time.
Before departure, each hiking participant receives:
- a tracking system that allows the participant to be registered and geolocated in order to certify the completion of the Patent;- a “Road Book” booklet with all the necessary information for traveling on the track;- track .gpx route detail - a 'travel document' that must be presented to RANDO POINT employees in order to use the services.
Every participant/hiker must respect the opening and closing times indicated in the Road Book at all times. The passage must always be certified by the electronic Tracking system. However, there may be one or more surprise checks placed along the mandatory route.
Every hiking participant at the end of the route, to obtain approval, must be validated by the electronic TRACKING system. Any malfunctions must be reported to the organization, via WhatsApp message when the problem occurs, and a selfie must be sent showing the cyclist's face and the Check Point sign indicating the time of passage.
The ALPI 4000 is not a competition and does not involve any drafting of rankings. At the end of the event, the organizing company will draw up an alphabetical list of all the hiking participants approved with the time taken.
Every hiking participant at the time of departure is required to sign the statement of AWARENESS prepared by the organizing company accepting the ALPI 4000 regulations.
Alpi 4000 has established opening and closing times for checkpoints between departure and arrival. These times are calculated on any reasonable basis in accordance with the type of route, in order to allow cyclists to proceed to a timely arrival. These times will be indicated on the patent card together with the information relating to the checkpoints.
17.1 If a cyclist arrives at a checkpoint after its closure due to an unforeseen event caused by mechanical or other failure, the organization recommends continuing their journey informing the organization of the transfer to control with photographic documentation and trying to make up for lost time to show up at the end of the event in good time.
17.2 Any fraud, cheating, or deliberate violation of these rules may result in the runner being excluded from all events sponsored by ACP and LRM
The organizing company will issue to each hiking participant an LRM Patent if the route is completed within 145 hours or BRI if completed between 151 and 152 hours. The patent obtained at the ALPI 4000 is valid for obtaining the ARI L'Italia Grand Tour (IGT) Grand Patent consisting of 6 races over 1000 km that each take place every 4 years (see regulations on www.audaxitalia.it).

ACP PENALTY SCALE FOR PBP (as of August 2023)
The violation of the rules of conduct several times may lead to the non-approval of the Patent. In any case, the organization will not stop the cyclist, who will be notified of the sanction of the violation.
